This month I learned new stuff in the Bible. I learned in Genesis about Noah and the Ark, I have always heard this story but this time I found out that Noah took his sons, and their wives on the boat with him. Did you know that the flood was over 22ft above the highest mountain!? I love animals and I imagined what it would be like to be on the ark taking care of the animals. I sometimes try to imagine which animal would be the best roommate.  I think a Panda bear would be fun!

My family has been learning about dreams. We talk about them every morning to see what God is saying to us. I’ve had some interesting dreams and I think God has been showing me things in them.

This past week I was able to get a parakeet! I worked hard, saved money and finally was able to get one. She is a pretty blue, black and white with some purple on her cheeks. She is getting settled in and comfortable with me but I LOVE having her. I love animals!

I am very excited about the adventures my family has been having. We have made a couple of trips this year and I hope to have more soon. It has been good we have not traveled much this summer because we have been able to get a new brother! Andrew started living with us this month after my family decided to adopt him. He is the oldest of my brothers and is kind and fun. He doesn’t pick on my like my other brothers do but he spends most of his time with my dad.

I can’t wait to tell you more about the adventures we have in the coming months. I hope they include animals!
