We have been so blessed to have so many new partners joining our team these past few months. After the training Wendy and I went through in February, we started a season of dedicated fundraising. We love what we see in God’s Word regarding partnership.
In 1 Samuel 30:24 David responds to those who felt they deserved a greater reward for going to fight while others stayed behind to support them. The scripture says the men who wanted to not share the reward were “wicked” and “evil.” This is only one example to demonstrate how God wants a team involved and rewards equally all those who helped accomplish the goal. This lines up with Jesus’ parable in Matthew 20 where those working all day and those working only an hour were paid the same for laboring toward the same goal. As a partner, you are part of the team and receive the same reward.
