Recently my daughter Kaitlin has been wanting to get a parakeet. She has researched them and determined she wanted a blue bellied parakeet with white feathers. She was working to save up her money so that she could afford one. In the process Wendy had come across a great deal on a cage at a yard sale and we were working towards getting her one.
One Sunday Grandpa decided he wanted to get Kaitlin her parakeet because he had not gotten her anything recently. At church on Sunday morning he asked Katelyn what type of parakeet she wanted and she explained it. When church was over grandma and grandpa ran off to the pet store that Kaitlyn usually goes to only to find out that it was closed. but another store was open in town and they decided to visit that store and see what type of parakeets they had. Upon arrival at the store they walked in and asked the store clerk if they had any blue parakeets with white feathers.
“as a matter of fact we do! Someone returned this one to the wrong store last week and as a result we are not able to sell it. It is free! Is this what you are looking for?” Seeing the bird Grandma and Grandpa were amazed that God had brought them Kaitlin’s parakeet just as she wanted and His blessings were showing up everywhere. Without letting Kaitlin know, they brought home the new parakeet and surprised Kaitlin. She now has her parakeet and decided with a big smile on her face to name him Blue Jay.
